In order to occupy the commanding heights of advanced manufacturing, a major global economy, based on the foundation of the real economy, expand and strengthen advanced manufacturing, and unswervingly implement the goal and task of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee on "accelerating the promotion of new industrialization, cultivating and expanding advanced manufacturing clusters, and promoting the high-end, intelligent and green development of manufacturing", the China Industrial Gases Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as: China Gas Association) held the "Deep Cold Technology Forum" in Hangzhou on September 4th.
The conference invited more than 40 industry and enterprise leaders and experts and scholars to share wonderful reports on the development trends and industry applications in the field of deep cold technology. The meeting was chaired by Bo Chungan, Executive Vice President of the China Gas Association.
Ma Yinchuan, Chairman of the China Gas Association and General Manager of Beijing Shougang Gas Co., Ltd., delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the conference. Ma Yinchuan said that the realization and application of deep cold technology are wide-ranging. In industrial production, deep cold technology plays an important role in gas liquefaction and separation, superconducting technology, aerospace, medical treatment, and low-temperature electronic cooling. It is also used in food freezing and refrigeration, cooling processes of chemical and mechanical production processes, refrigerated transportation, etc.
Regarding the development of cryogenic technology in the field of scientific research, Ma Yinchuan emphasized that through the study of the physical properties of materials under deep cooling, we can gain an understanding of the quantum mechanical characteristics of the movement of atoms and electrons in solids. He pointed out that he believed that with the advancement of science and technology, the application field of cryogenic technology will be further expanded, bringing more possibilities for human life and development.
Ma Yinchuan said that after years of development of cryogenic technology, my country has basically formed a large-scale, complete system and strong competitiveness of the manufacturing industry. The overall scale of the manufacturing industry has ranked first in the world for 14 consecutive years, showing the strong strength of China's manufacturing industry.
Pu Chungan said that the cryogenic technology equipment industry, as part of the advanced manufacturing industry, has also experienced rapid development. A group of manufacturers with technical foundation and innovation awareness have begun to emerge in this industry. By digesting, improving and re-innovating the cryogenic air separation technology accumulated in the previous stage, the application field of cryogenic technology has gradually expanded to natural gas liquefaction and modern coal chemical industry.
Pu Chungan pointed out that Hangzhou has initially developed into a world cryogenic center, with design and engineering centers of Fortune 500 multinational cryogenic companies (New Linde, Air Liquide), as well as design and engineering centers of domestic cross-regional cryogenic companies (Beijing Zhongke Fuhai, Guangzhou Guanggang Gas), more than 30 design and manufacturing cryogenic companies headed by Hangzhou Oxygen Group, Zhongtai Cryogenics, Fusda, and China Air Separation, and more than 100 related design and manufacturing companies. Bo Chungan emphasized that if calculated by a radius of 200 kilometers, it includes cities such as Shanghai, Suzhou, Wuxi, Ningbo, Jinhua, and Jiaxing, and more than 300 cryogenic equipment and related design and manufacturing companies. The Cryogenic Technology Forum held in Hangzhou, a concentration of cryogenic technology and manufacturing industries in my country, has far-reaching and important significance.
The forum also invited experts and big names in the cryogenic industry to share reports on hot topics of concern to the industry. Zheng Dahai, deputy chief engineer and director of the design institute of Hangzhou Oxygen Group Co., Ltd., gave a speech on "Development and Trend of Cryogenic Air Separation Technology", Zhao Guangming, vice president of Beijing Zhongke Fuhai Cryogenic Technology Co., Ltd., gave a speech on "Ultra-low Temperature Technology and Application", Chen Jihua, business director of Hangzhou Fusda Cryogenic Equipment Co., Ltd., gave a speech on "The Development Road of Fusda Cryogenic Technology", Wang Dan, technical director of Hangzhou Zhongtai Cryogenic Technology Co., Ltd., gave a speech on "Application of Cryogenic Technology in the Chemical Industry", and Zhu Ruijun, general manager of Shaanxi Qinfeng Gas Co., Ltd., gave a speech on "Sharing System Solutions for Cryogenic Digital Operation". The report focuses on the development and integration of cryogenic technology and provides a reference solution for the industry.
Pu Chungan finally summarized the meeting. He said that in the future, Hangzhou will build a world cryogenic center and a global advanced cryogenic technology and manufacturing base. This is not only the need of the cryogenic industry, but also the need of Zhejiang Province and Hangzhou, and even more so the need of the country to build global competitiveness.
